The Cline Shale basin in West Texas is the newest oil and natural gas exploration and production region.  The cities Midland-Odessa, San Angelo, and Abilene near the estimated 15 years of drilling activity and at least 30 years of oil production in this region.

The Permian Basin of West Texas and eastern New Mexico contains more than 5 Billion barrels of proven oil reserves and is the top oil opportunity region in North America — outranking Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico.

The Cline Shale region is America’s Energy Solutions Region, playing a major role in America’s oil, natural gas, wind, nuclear, solar, clean coal, and electricity transmission sectors.  The region is strong in logistics, technical workforce, skills training, energy resources, and an energy friendly population.
